A project to bring space closer to everyone
and join together to acquire ”Space perspectives”
The “space perspectives” that are so integral to the STARSPHERE project mean not just the physical perspectives of viewing things from space, but also the intellectual and emotional perspectives of perceiving and contemplating thigs through space. Individuals and various communities will be connected to space through a satellite that anyone can freely operate and use to take pictures. Enjoying and updating the things, ideas , and culture that surround us from “space perspectives” will enrich both our daily lives and the future of the Earth. This is a group project where the class consists of all approximately 8 billion people on Earth.

Revealing a new shape to the Earth
The design of our symbol is inspired by thinking of the orbits created when the satellite is operated by various users as the trajectories of various discoveries that people encounter through the satellite, as well as the notion of the sphere of human activities expanding into space.
The graphic depicts the shape of the Earth, a sphere, surrounded by triple satellite orbits.
In addition, the entire symbol is tilted at the same angle as the Earth’s axis, giving the satellite orbits around the Earth a sense of realism.
The meaning behind the symbol is represented dynamically by our motion logo.
Gleaming satellite orbits faintly illuminate the shape of the Earth. Intentionally displaying this motion logo separately adds a sense of narrative to the symbol that appears at the end.
